The origin
Born in Mexico. Made in Texas.
For years, the kitchen was practically off-limits to me. I was a businesswoman, building a career far from the stove. But at 40, an unexpected business presentation forced me to cook. Armed with YouTube tutorials, a few pans, and sheer determination, I discovered a hidden passion I never saw coming.
I began experimenting with premium dried chilies, seeds, and nuts, guided by my grandmother’s wise words: «Recaudo hace cocina, no Catarina» (It’s the ingredients that make the kitchen, not the cook). The turning point? Family gatherings. My brother would always insist: «Bring the salsa, you’re good at making salsas.» I realized then that the market lacked a truly authentic, premium Salsa Macha.
